FJORDNE releases his sixth album "Moonlit Invocations"
on White Paddy Mountain. This work has been produced over the past three years, "Moonlit Invocations" are expressed awe to all the world, including the beauty and ugliness. he focused piano jazz on this album against the twist of a field of subtle electronics. Moonlit Invocations" is homage for 60's Jazz.dense structure and beautiful harmony creates a depth to his compositions and moreover a profound sense of the personal.this time the piano solo colors are most intimate, honed to evocative perfection witheach sampling beat of 60's Jazz records bringing its own texture.
this album promises not just an aural treat but a visual experience into a labyrinth.

FJORDNE profile

Based in Tokyo, FJORDNE is the solo project of Fujimoto Shunichiro (b.1980). Focused on two concepts, “sound texture” and “twisted time”, he utilises an array of acoustic instruments and transforms his sounds into a new time span using the laptop computer. Within a year in 2008, FJORDNE released 3 albums ”UNMOVING” (u-cover, Belgium), “The Last 3 Days of Time” (Dynamophone Records, USA) and “Stories apart from the world” (Ryoondo Tea, Japan), This was followed by another EP “light passes on through a layer” (SEM label, France) before his fourth album “The Setting Sun” (Kitchen.
