about

Asuna is a Japanese artist living on The Hokuriku Region who produces some of the most beautifully emotive drone music and electronics music since his debut from Lucky Kitchen 2003. With releases on Spekk, and/OAR, Apestaartje, Music Related label,Home Normal, Students Of Decay and Headz and now this ’Valya Letters’ arrives via White Paddy Mountain. Asuna was inspired by a scene of old Russian movie in which girl is always sending missing letters on making ’Valya Letters’.
this album is made up of five parts and floating Asuna’s electronics are pulling the listener into a kind of dream time.
flowing and ebbing sounds are warm and engaging.
